This was a busy week for new Apple trademark filings around the globe. Apple filed for the non-figurative version of ‘Apple M2’ along with the creative lock design found in their marketing of ‘Apple Privacy.’ Apple also filed for iOS related ‘Live Activities’ and iPhone 14 camera related ‘Photonic Engine.’
The U.S. Patent Office has published Apple’s non-figurative trademark filing for ‘Apple M2’ filed earlier this week which only represents an alpha-numeric version of the trademark which is different from the figurative version presented in our cover graphic above.
Apple’s trademark was filed under International Class 009 covering “computers; computer hardware, namely, integrated circuits; and computer chips.” Apple’s original filing for this trademark was secretly made in Jamaica in May 2022 under application number 86521. This was one month prior to Apple introducing their new MacBooks powered by their next-gen ‘M2″ processor.
