Tim Cook recently announced that Apple was going to be transitioning to their own silicon for the Mac platform. The reason? To make better Macs. Many of the advanced features available on iPhones an iPads take advantage of Apple Silicon to make those features possible. So, when Macs start using those processors, it will be interesting to see which features from iOS then show up in macOS.
