A new 31.5-inch LG monitor costs a bit more than entry-level screens, but offers 4K resolution, wide viewing angles, and a very good contrast ratio.  There’s even a built-in USB hub.

Best of all, the LG 32UL750-W has a USB-C port so it can be easily connected to recent MacBooks, Mac desktops, and even the new iPad Pro.

This screen has a 3840 by 2160 pixel resolution, giving it 140 pixels per inch. LG promises a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and that the screen is viewable across 178 degrees, both horizontally and vertically. 

This screen offers 400 nits typical brightness but 600 nits peak brightness. LG says it can produce 1.07 billion colors. It comes calibrated from the factory.
