Some out-of-warranty Apple product repair have gotten or are about to get a bit more expensive.
Apple will increase the price of out-warranty iPhone battery replacements for all iPhone models older than the iPhone 14 later this year, the company announced on its website. Apple is also increasing prices of iPad and Mac battery replacement.
The company said that beginning March 1, 2023, the price of out-of-warranty battery replacements from all models of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 series, as well as older models, will increase by $20. Apple currently charges $69 for a battery replacement on most iPhone models, per to an estimation calculator on the company’s website.
