What Apple’s gaming service has to offer
Apple plans to have 100+ games in its Arcade, though it’s a bit short of that at the moment. Still, there are already great titles like Oceanhorn 2, EarthNight, and Rayman Mini.
Getting access to all of them costs $4.99 a month, but that’s all — in-app purchases and ads are banned from this service.
All games are playable on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac, with a player’s game state jumping from device to device as they switch. Plus, many titles support Xbox and PS4 controllers, not just touchscreens and keyboards/mice.
Anyone who hasn’t tried Arcade can sign up for their own free one-month trial. It’s only those who started a trial shortly after the launch of iOS 13 that are about to get billed.
