Some of the best new iOS 12 features are coming to the Mac later this year.
Apple is allegedly planning to make iOS and macOS more alike with the releases of iOS 13 and macOS 10.15 which will add Siri Shortcuts, Screen Time and more to the Mac.
macOS 10.15 will be unveiled at Apple’s annual worldwide developers conference in June. People familiar with the software’s development revealed to 9to5Mac that the update has been in the works for two years and is aimed at allowing iOS apps to run on Mac as part of project Marzipan.
Making macOS more like iOS
The report claims that the Marizpan version of Siri Shortcuts on macOS 10.15 will have system-wide support. Like the iOS version, Mac users may have to download the Siri Shortcuts app from the App Store instead of having it bundled in the update.
